With over 20 years of experience in the legal and correctional fields, I am now a Certified Legal Document Assistant (LDA) as well as a commissioned Notary Public. I founded Holt Legal Document Assistance & Notary Services to bring professional, reliable, and convenient legal document preparation and notary services directly to the people of the Central Valley.
As a Legal Document Assistant, I help everyday people prepare the legal documents they need — powers of attorney, deeds, court filings, family law documents, and more — without the high cost of a lawyer. My background includes serving as a California Notary inside a state prison, managing legal documents for the Public Defender's Office, and handling thousands of loan signings, powers of attorney, affidavits, and other critical legal documents. This experience taught me that every document — and every client — deserves the utmost care, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to clearly communicate with a broader range of clients and ensure they fully understand every document they're signing. I believe language should never be a barrier to getting professional notary service.
When I'm not notarizing documents, I'm proud to serve the Madera, Fresno, Clovis, and surrounding communities where I live and work. Being a mobile notary means I get to meet people where they are — at home, at the hospital, at a correctional facility, or wherever they need me — and help them through what can often be a stressful process with patience and professionalism.

What Is a Legal Document Assistant (LDA)?
A Legal Document Assistant (LDA) is a non-lawyer professional who prepares legal documents at the specific direction of clients representing themselves in self-help legal matters. LDAs must be bonded and registered in their local county (such as through the Madera County Clerk-Recorder), but they cannot provide legal advice or go to court.
